THE BOOKS YOU MUST READ IN THIS LIFE

1. The Book of Secrets

Life is a miracle. If you have not known its mystery, that only shows that you do not know the technique for how to approach it.” ―Osho

"If you are allowed to read only 1 book in your entire life, what book would you recommend?"
There was a question on Quora that got me thinking...

Not an easy read, but if you are patient, and read it slowly, you will find yourself transform, and one day "find" yourself awakened.

2. Love, Freedom, and Aloneness

“It is beautiful to be alone, it is also beautiful to be in love, to be with people. And they are complementary, not contradictory.”

To know the blessing of being a human, one can find no better helper than love.

I couldn't put the book down. Every page had some gold nuggets. Many things make sense but most of society doesn't understand love to explain how love ought to be. Or how being alone helps you love and vice versa.

If you want to shed some light into what is troubling you in a relationship, this book can help you realize your patterns and programs in the mind that are making trouble.

3.Intimacy: Trusting Oneself and the Other

“When two lovers are really open to each other, when they are not afraid of each other and not hiding anything from each other, that is intimacy.”

Intimacy is not a book about physical intimacy, but a book about emotional intimacy. The book is structured, basically, in chapters that discuss those elements that prevent you from becoming truly intimate with somebody else (the habit of reaction, being stuck on security, shadow-boxing, and being attached to false values), and those that will help you to become intimate (learn to relate without having a relationship, be true to yourself, listen to and accept yourself, trust yourself, learn to be vulnerable, be "selfish", learn the language of silence, and meditate), plus an introduction on what Intimacy is and is not, and a final section devoted to Q&A.

4. Sex Matters

“Love is the ecstasy when the walls between two people crumble down, when two lives meet, when two lives unite.”

Are you not comfortable on the discussion of the topic sex..It is a great book to transform yourself now and feel its great quality.

One of the greatest spiritual thinkers of the twentieth century explores the physical and emotional intimacies of men and women in Sex Matters: Sex to Superconsciousness.

Sex matters to us all. The Osho approach to sex begins with an understanding of how important love is in our lives, while at the same time acknowledges that the journey into love cannot exclude our innate biological energies. With this perspective, it becomes clear that the tendency for religions, and for society in general, to associate sex with sin and morality has been a great misfortune.

5.Book of woman

Every man and women must go through this revolutionary book, it will open a new insight in you.
If you read it without any prejudice thoughts, you will see a big change in your thinking.
Osho has described woman not as a man's perspective, but as a whole mindfulness and consciousness. He pens about love, marriage, relationship, sexuality, motherhood and more in various 14 chapters.
He has compared eastern and western cultures to display how a woman should be treated, celebrated and how her abilities are being underestimated. He has questioned few aspects of Christianity for not to stand by women's strength and intellectuallity. He suggest readers to break free of the prejudices and conditioned belief system that bound their capacity to enjoy life in all its greenness.
The book must be read by men and women both

7.Karma

NEW YORK TIMES, USA TODAY, and PUBLISHERS WEEKLY BESTSELLER
“Full of valuable insights to guide you.”—WILL SMITH
“Thoughtful and life-affirming . . . a must-read.”—TONY ROBBINS
“This book will put you back in charge of your own life.”—TOM BRADY

A new perspective on the overused and misunderstood concept of “karma” that offers the key to happiness and enlightenment, from the world-renowned spiritual master Sadhguru.

What is karma? Most people understand karma as a balance sheet of good and bad deeds, virtues and sins. The mechanism that decrees that we cannot evade the consequences of our own actions. In reality, karma has nothing to do with reward and punishment. Karma simply means action: your action, your responsibility. It isn’t some external system of crime and punishment, but an internal cycle generated by you. Accumulation of karma is determined only by your intention and the way you respond to what is happening to you. Over time, it’s possible to become ensnared by your own unconscious patterns of behavior.
This is like a life user manual for those who are living on this planet.

8. Emotional Wellness: Transforming Fear, Anger, and Jealousy into Creative Energy

This book has innumerable insights and helpful tips for examining one's emotions and creating balance in one's life. It is profoundly better than many of the "personal help" books that I've read, and it is at times humorous. In addition, the author casts a critical eye toward monks, pointing out how their often shallow spirituality follows from strict adherence to a rigid code of belief and action. It is the best guide to rewarding meditation that I have read; it simply explains the distinctions between mind, heart, body, and being.
